Elite Soccer Academy was established in 2014. As a tier 1 recognized academy sanctioned by Ontario Soccer with a goal to provide boys and girls a high-performance platform geared towards advancement to university scholarships and professional clubs, both locally and worldwide.
Elite Soccer Academy has built a great reputation of strong player development through a unique player centric methodology, but also strong community values where families feel safe, included, and above all, respected. It is by way of those values, that all members of our team must carry forward and represent at all times.
The Elite coach is much more than a soccer facilitator, but a mentor of the future’s athletes, takes serious interest to player development and is motivated to continue learning through a professional environment, for the purpose of advancing players to reach their highest potential.
As such, there are a series of mandatory requirements all Elite coaches must meet.
• Is eligible to work in Canada and able to produce a valid police record check
• Alignment with the standard operating procedures defined by the province’s governing body
• Commitment and supportive of the Elite coach and player development pathway and advancement platform, inclusive but not limited to coaching education courses and workshops
• Places the best interest of the player and academy’s objectives at the forefront of priorities
• Willing to participate in activities where certain RISKS of INJURY are inherent in participation in sports and recreation activities. These types of risks can include, physical and/or mental stress due to various levels of training intensity or climate changes.
Coaches acknowledge and will participate and own risk.

As the game continuously to evolve, and organizational changes occur, so will we. Elite staff must be open and willing to adjust to new processes as required
Organizations will restructure to align with the new strategic plan Canada Soccer is rolling out. That directive is mandated by the country’s soccer governing body, that all sanctioned organizations must abide by.
The focus is shifting to raising the bar, and so are we. All staff must learn, understand and consistently support the vision set forth for the betterment of our players.

Elite Soccer academy is committed to maintaining a high standard of service to its membership, but also ensure everyone aligns with the minimum requirements as directed by Canada Soccer. ALL staff (head coaches, assistant coaches, team managers, etc) MUST conduct themselves with the utmost level of professionalism at all times, and fully comply with the operating procedures set forth by Ontario Soccer.

• Sport the provided head coaches kit when/where soccer activities associated with Elite Soccer Academy may take place
• Deliver soccer related activities such as coaching, mentoring, participating in games, information meetings, etc. within the academy format
• Setup training day activities in alignment with the academy’s standards including but not limited to setup of nets (where applicable), color coordinated field/grid setup
• Coach must own and carry his/her own essential equipment such as cones, balls and pinnies.
• Plan, setup and conduct soccer training sessions to the respectively assigned team(s) within the academy’s programs and its partners
• Develop seasonal/yearly plans and budgets for the respective teams
• Submit all required documents within the timelines provided
• Manage player/parent relationships, communication and day-to-day operation pertaining the assigned team(s)
• Work closely with team managers to ensure day-to-day team related activities are well organized and conduct team meetings as necessary
• Identify new talent through new opportunities, trials and conduct player evaluations and goal setting exercises as needed
• Coach MUST support the academy’s talent pathway that prioritizes individual player advancement opportunities
